Refining your college list
Adjust your quiz preferences to reshape your matches, then curate on the Colleges page.

College Matchmaker gives you a starting list, but the best college list is one you have actively curated. Here is where the refining actually happens.
Refine through the quiz
The deep preference controls, like location, campus size, setting, cost, and campus culture, live in the Matchmaker quiz. Adjust your quiz answers and your matches recalculate to fit. If the list feels off, that is the lever to pull.
Curate on the Colleges page
The Colleges page has two tabs: the Matchmaker list, which holds your generated matches, and Your list, the schools you are actually tracking. Both are grouped by Reach, Target, and Safety. On the page itself you work with status and sorting, and move schools from the Matchmaker list to Your list as you commit to them.
Removing a school from Your list does not delete it permanently. You can find it again in your Matchmaker list or through search.
