Connecting with your school counselor
Join your school with a code from your counselor to unlock messaging, check-ins, and school resources.

If your school uses Blueprint, the connection happens through the school itself. Your counselor shares a join code or link, and once you use it, you are on their roster.
How to join your school
The simplest path is the invite link. Your counselor's link ends with your school's code, so it looks like applywithblueprint.com/join-school/YOURCODE. Open it and you will see your school's name, then either create your account on the spot or, if you are already signed in, join with one click. Either way you land on your dashboard already connected.
If your counselor gave you the bare code instead of a link, sign in to Blueprint first, then open Settings. Under "School" you will find a box for the code: type it there and press Connect. Do not have an account yet? Create one first, then use that box. You can also just ask your counselor to send the full link, which skips the extra step.
What unlocks when you join
Once connected, three new sections appear in your sidebar: Messages for talking with your counselor, Check-ins for the forms your counselor sends out, and School resources for the guides and links your school shares. Your counselor can see your college list, deadlines, and progress so they can actually help.
There is no counselor option inside Settings. The connection always starts with your school's join code or link.
