Transparency matters. Here is exactly what your counselor can and cannot see when you join your school.
Shared by default
Your counselor can see your college list and match categories, deadline status and upcoming due dates, overall application progress, how your essays are moving (which essays exist and their status, never the text), and your activity list including titles and descriptions.
Private by default
Your counselor cannot read your essay drafts or the AI feedback on them, and they cannot see your personal notes. Those stay yours.
If you want your counselor's eyes on an essay, bring it up in Messages or during a check-in. Blueprint never shares your essay text automatically.
