Transparency matters. Here is exactly what your counselor can and cannot see when you connect.
Shared by default
Your counselor can see your college list and match categories, deadline status and upcoming due dates, overall application progress percentages, and your activity list including titles and descriptions.
Private by default
Your counselor cannot see essay drafts and AI feedback, personal notes and journal entries, messages with other counselors, or financial aid details. These remain private unless you explicitly choose to share them.
You can selectively share essay drafts with your counselor from the Essay Coach by clicking "Share with Counselor" on any draft.
