Blueprint's family portal gives you visibility into the application process without needing to look over your child's shoulder. Here is how it works.
Getting connected
The connection is usually started by your child, who invites you from their account with an invite tied to your email address. A parent can also invite their student, and a counselor can invite a parent. Whoever starts it, accepting the invite is what links the accounts.
What you get
The family portal is a read-only dashboard: your child's college list, upcoming deadlines, and overall progress, plus a side-by-side comparison of financial aid award letters once offers start arriving. You can watch the process move without touching anything.
Either of you can end the connection at any time. Essay drafts and private notes are never shared.
